Electric Atlas: 2026 delivery, 2028 line work
The production electric Atlas unveiled at CES 2026: 56 DoF, 50 kg payload, with 2026 delivery slots committed to Hyundai's Robotics Metaplant Application Center and Google DeepMind; Hyundai's roadmap puts parts sequencing at Metaplant America from 2028 and more complex assembly around 2030. Retiring the hydraulic Atlas ends the performance era - only the electric version's service intervals and energy budget fit a factory ledger.
Stretch is the earliest money-maker of the four: a wheeled-arm platform for truck unloading and case moving, already commercial at multiple logistics sites; Spot the quadruped has accumulated the most non-factory operating hours in grid inspection, mining (see underground shot below) and emergency response.
